GDPR and DPA Masterclass 2 – 2 March 2018
Are the implications of the GDPR and DPA on your business puzzling you? In a series of three masterclasses we will help you to get started with becoming GDPR compliant. In the second of our series we will introduce you to the obligations of data controllers and data processors.
Obligations data processor and data controller
In this second masterclass we will discuss the basics of transparency: how to treat data obtained from the data subject itself and how to treat data obtained from a third party about a data subject. We will also treat how consent must be obtained and we will go over the rights of data subject: such as the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to be erased and the right to object.
We will illustrate these technical concepts with practical examples to ensure you get a firm grip of what this means for your business.
The number of participants will be limited in order to make it an interactive session promoting sharing of experiences and a lively discussion.
Key take aways:
- Transparency: how to draft/adapt privacy policies, employee handbooks, etc.
- Privacy Impact Assessments: how and when?. Accountability: how to prepare an internal data processing register

To ensure interactive and practice-oriented sessions, we only accept a limited number of participants. Register at your earliest convenience to secure your spot.
