About Thomas Chellingsworth

Thomas’ practice covers numerous legal aspects of the energy sector, with a focus on sectoral regulations and contract negotiation. He advises on offshore and onshore energy projects and drafts and negotiates PPAs, construction contracts (often FIDIC-based) and O&M agreements. He advises on subsidy mechanisms, submarine and underground cables and closed distribution systems. He represents parties in civil, administrative and constitutional litigation. Thomas is recognised as a leading lawyer by The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. He has extensive experience of competition law, including numerous European and Belgian merger filings.
