Jérôme is a member of the Loyens & Loeff General Tax Practice Group and heads the Automotive Team in Belgium.
About Jérôme Wauthier
His core practice focuses on a wide range of international and domestic corporate tax issues including corporate restructuring, transfer pricing, double tax treaty matters, mergers and acquisitions, holding and financing structures, real estate, private equity partnerships and taxation of intellectual property.
In addition, he has experience in handling tax audits and tax disputes including negotiating settlements (ruling requests and advanced pricing agreements) with the Belgian tax authorities.
His experience extends to advising on various personal income tax matters, wealth optimisation techniques and inheritance planning, as well as on the fiscal consequences of immigration and emigration.
Another of his particular areas of expertise is the taxation of savings income and insurance contracts.
Jérôme has been registered at the Ordre Français des Avocats du Barreau de Bruxelles since 2010.
Jérôme holds a Law degree from the Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, 2009) and a Master in Tax Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium, 2010).
