He has extensive experience in cross borders M&A transactions, take-over bids, corporate finance dispute resolution (including arbitration) and civil law. He has built a solid reputation for expertise in the financial, energy (including mining law), manufacturing and airline sectors.
His clients include listed and non-listed companies, PE funds and mid-size companies. His clients are mostly from the US, the EU and Belgium.
Grégoire is a regular conference speaker on corporate and financial law as well as aircraft finance. He has written two books (one on public take-over bids and the other on banking law) and numerous articles on various aspects of corporate law, securities regulation and banking law. Until recently, Grégoire was an Assistant Professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles on corporate and financial law.
He has chaired the Banking Commission of the Union of International Associations, and he is also very active in the non-profit sector.
